I guess I should start with a little bit about me… I founded Samantha Burke Events after working for 10 years in Advertising and Events in London and Sydney. During my corporate career I’ve had the privilege of working on some of the worlds biggest and best known brands in the luxury, B2B and FMCG space. After developing my creative and logistical skills working in the Ad and corporate event world, I decided to turn my hand to wedding planning and started my own business. For me weddings are a far more personal, and I love working with my clients to help them plan their dream wedding (as cheesy as that sounds!).
From planning my own ‘big day’ I saw a gap in the market for busy professional couples who want a modern, stylish wedding but don't have the time or the patience to spend the 250+ hours that it takes to create one. I created Samantha Burke Events with these clients in mind, and developed my packages to ensure they aren’t just for the rich and famous, or just for those who want to spend a fortune on styling. No matter the wedding size, budget, or the overall vision, we work with couples to deliver a day that reflects their personalities. No cookie cutters here!
Underpinning this are the business values of high quality service, inclusivity and relationship building. We work with clients of all backgrounds and since last year’s legalisation we’re proud to be one of Sydney’s leading same-sex-wedding planners.
